Update from our September Business meeting

If a contract/agreement is not signed by us and by the county as of October 1, 2013, we will stop responding to calls. This is not to be seen as “shutting down or closing our doors.”
Without a contract we will not be legally allowed to respond to calls.

We will continue to meet as a department and train, but our trucks will not be rolling to a scene, until a contract/agreement is reached.

So you are aware, Station 10 has has two members currently seeking additional training on their own personal time/money to better serve you and the county. Stephen has started Firefighter I and II with FSCJ and will have his training completed in 7 months. Rachel has also started training with FSCJ for her Emergency Medical Responder certification, that will lead to EMT, starting in January.

Tanker 10 will be in the West Nassau High School Homecoming Parade on September 20th!

Thanks for all of your support!!!!
