Tanker 10 was acquired in November 2009. It holds 2,500 gallons of water at peak capacity. It can pump 1,250 gallons per minute. T-10 carries 3 inch and 5 inch hose in addition to a portable folding dump tank that can be easily deployed on a fire scene. T-10 can dump all 2,500 gallons of water into the tank in 98 seconds through a rear dump valve. Tanker 10 is used to respond to structure fire and brush fire calls, not only in District 10, but also mutual aid calls for structure fires and brush fires. T-10 has the ability to hook up to and pump water from the dry hydrants that are placed in water sources throughout the county. Tanker 10 then transports the water to the fire scene.
