About Us

Station 10-The Ratliff Community Volunteer Fire Department-serves the citizens of the Ratliff Community and responds to mutual aid calls from other parts of Nassau County and Jacksonville as requested. Our district covers 12.5 square miles, including all of Ratliff and Thomas Creek Roads. Our membership currently stands at 15 active members and 10 associate members. Members under the age of 18 can be involved in the station as associate members. We started serving the public on July 19, 1991. We moved to the current location of our station on July 19, 1996. We are staffed by members trained as first responders, emergency medical technicians, firefighters, wildland firefighters, and emergency vehicle operators. We hold weekly training meetings at the station in addition to training with other volunteer fire departments in Nassau County. We are a nonprofit organization.
